Daniel Radcliffe is one of the most versatile actors I've seen for a long time and the him, Rupert and Emma play off each other is great. You can tell that there is a deep friendship behind the scenes. I can't wait to see the new movie Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince should be great if the producers and directors don't change the story too much. I was a little dissappointed in the Order of the Phoenix. That didn't stop me from seeing it in theaters 3 times or purchasing the movie the day it came out. I love Daniel Radcliffe. If I found out tommorrow that I didn't have long to live I would want to meet the whole cast of the Harry Potter movies. From Dumbledore, The Malfoys, all the down to the person that played Dobby the house elf. I can't wait. Do a Good job!!!

the movie as a whole was great but if your a fan of the books you'll probably be left wanting more.

If you're a fan of the books than you're going to see this movie regardless of a review, and if you're not a fan than you won't start at this point. I'm in the middle, having read the books but not committed them to heart, and have enjoyed but not exactly been thrilled by the movies except Prisoner of Azkaban. But this movie was great, complex and well acted with impeccable effects. It was sad, scary, funny and touching in all the right proportions. I'm sure some purists will whine because certain characters or scenes were changed or left out from the book, but if you just wanted to read the book again, go to the library. For me the 2.5 hours flew by and I'm already eagerly looking forward to the next installment of the movie series.

This Monday evening I attended the advance VIP press preview of this 153 minute somber and darker movie of the Harry Potter franchise. I have read the entire Harry Potter series of novels - and there were quite a number of disturbing changes/contractions/deletions/truncations of the novel as adapted into the movie by director David Yates - sacrificing accuracy. The ending was anti-climactic and was nothing like the novel. Nevertheless, there were plenty of special effects to hold one SPELLBOUND the entire time. But CGI does not a movie make... and be warned that the plot/story has matured and the added gravity feels heavy. The entire cast performed superbly - how they have all grown-up! Spoiler Alert! Fenrir and Bellatrix surrounded the Weasleys' home with a ring of fire - and destroyed the house. Ralph Fiennes IS NOT in this movie - there was only the younger Tom Riddle. VERDICT: Good movie but not the best. Definitely not a kids movie. GRADE: B

So excited! We've got a Harry Potter party going and then we're all gonna take up massive rows at the theater!
